· To co-operate with other exchanges for smooth functioning of the communication.
· To brief the next incoming operator with all necessary information before leaving the console.
· He / She is responsible for booking phonograms and trunk calls and make the relevant entry in the prescribed standard format and register.
· He / She will not indulge in any private call business while operating the console position.
· He or she will maintain the exchange discipline in all the aspects.
· Telephone operator will maintain all the decorum of the Tele-Communication. Department/organization without any deviation.
