For Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia RAMCO Payroll Implementation, we need to SPOC from IT APPS Team who can support for Application as it is being done form India.
The support is required for below activities, as they are the expert and equipped to handle them.
IT APPS Team looks after all the Production Servers (DB / Application / File). In case of any issue (CPU Utilization, DB Growth, Infrastructure requirement etc.), they help us in coordinating with respective team and resolving the issue. Monthly Patch updates. IT APPS team ensures that all patches are updated, and Servers are being compliant. VA Gaps closure. Application security team runs the VA scan and all gaps need to be closed. IT APPS team works with vendor and internal teams to close these gaps. We neither have knowledge nor have skill set to understand those gaps and close, as all of them are technical gaps. As per Compliance guidelines the Dev / UAT / Production Code must be maintained in certain tools. In India we are using Bit Bucket / Git Bucket for same. HRIS team do not have any idea about these tools as Code repository is being managed by IT APPS team and Vendor. During Code level change implementation, for new Developments or Bug fixes, the last step is to ensure that only the valid changes are being done as documented in Change Request. This also being taken care by IT APPS Team Payroll processing – During Payroll processing time, IT APPS Team helps in coordinating with Internal Team and Vendor to ensure that payroll is processed smoothly. They help in identifying which jobs need to be put on hold by various team and post payroll enabling those job again. During payroll there has been downtime which is planned to stream the database tables to ensure that Payroll processing take less time. The downtime planning, ensuring the tasks during downtime are completed accurately and in case of any issue, coordinating with Server / DBA team being handled by IT Apps only Maintaining System Jobs. IT Apps team not only ensure that all System Job are running properly and maintain the repository of same, but in case of any improvement, failure or gap in these Jobs, they work with Vendor to help resolving the issue. In addition to that, in case of any new Job gets created they help in getting the same created and scheduled with help of Server and DBA teams. Also, in case of any technical issues, e.g. Network ports are not opened, then help in resolving the same There is regular support needed for RAMCO Onsite resources, where they face issues in App Server connectivity / DB Server connectivity. They only contact IT Apps team for help as we do not have expertise on those issues. In case of any new Infra requirement, we take IT APPS team help to ensure that requirements are appropriate and both, CNX & Vendor Team, are aligned
